Win98, & New mouse

Friend has an old Barbie machine.. Remember those? Anyway, she bought a new mouse, and it will not work...... But this mouse came with do disk.. etc I'm not sure on the make, but she could get them from the manufacturer online I would think... Thanks

I'm not really sure, is your post a question, or a statement?
If a question, then yes, she can go to the manufacturers site (other sites as well) and download any drivers and set up instructions if any exist.

There are all sorts of mice.. and all sorts of reasons why they might not work. You need to be more specific - what does the mouse plug into on the computer? USB, serial or PS2?
I'm not insensitive, I just don't care.

If mouse is USB or serial, make sure that usb or serial is enabled in the bios.
