win95 won't find my cd-rw

i am just 14 years old and trying to install my cd-rw i just got. I had it installed but then win95 couldn't find the drive anymore. How do i get windows to find the drive again?
Dave,have you tried using the Add New Hardware wizard under Control Panel/My Computer.When you say you had it installed - did this include Win95 detecting it as new hardware? If it did then an other way is to remove all references to it(add/remove programs and device manager), and see if Win95 auto detects it upon restarting. If Win95 does redetect it then install you write/re-write drivers.
