Win95 won't boot past splash screen

Hi there I have a 200mhz Win95 system here with 32MB of ram. It won't boot past the splash screen. It doesn't freeze up as the coloured band at the bottom of the splash screen keeps moving. It just won't go any further. I get the same thing when I try to start it in safe mode too but I can get it to start at a DOS prompt. I pressed ESC when the splash screen started and I get the following:
C:\>SET GRIP=C:\GRAVIS\PCGPPro
C:\>SET BLASTER=A220 I5 D1 H5 P330 T6
C:\>REM [HEADER]
OK ... what do I do with this now? I have gone into c:\edit autoexec.bat and the same thing as above is listed there. I just don't know what to do next.

I have seen instances of 95 as well as 98 taking a long time to get past the spalsh screen, but this is usually caused by a change in the network settings.
Anyway, let it sit for a time and see if it'll get there eventually.
