Win95 installation: HDD-Invalid disk....

when loading win95 on my other comp, it says that 'invalid disk' warning.....

even when i set it as a primary and everything seems fine....

help?!?

this is on my hdd...i'm building another system, but after i started to load Win95 and i have to restart, it says the 'invalid disk...'


on my hdd???

what's wrong??

If the drive is recognized correctly by your bios, has the drive been fdisk'd and formatted?

It needs to be set as active. fdisk can do this.

it's formatting (i just finished fdisking) right now...


it's weird....it wouldn't load off the hdd...but i could access it from a boot disk; like as if i hadn't tried loading 95...

I to am having problems with windows 95, i have recently attempted to format my c: drive and reinstall windows 95 but when the computer tries to install, it tells me that there is not enough conventional memory. What can i do to get more conventioanl memory???????
