My friend brought his machine to me a older Pent., he tried to install a game, and now the system will not start we receive these messages...no serial mouse found...error loading explorer.exe, reinstall windows....and comctl32.dll was not found.
All he has is the original win95 CD..the system will not find the cdrom, I tried various bootdisks and all I get is nonsystem disk....remove and hit any key.

And I can't get to the c:, only into windows where it freeze's..

Thanks

Dave,
Yes I did, I get a non-system error,
maybe I am doing something wrong...unzipped it and restarted windows..I am getting pretty ticked...I was thinking if I converted win 95/98 to disks then tried to update the system..
