Can anyone tell me how to make Win95 my primary OS. I've installed Win95 but at startup my machine still goes to a dos menu. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Danny...we need more info... What were you running on this computer before you installed W95???
How did yo install it???
What machine did you put it on, 486, pentII , how much memory etc..etc...
Do you get any kind of a "windows screen" at all when you start???
Did you install W95 over something else...;or did you fdisk and reformat then install it to an empty hd???

The machine had Dos 6.X that would put up a windows type menu at startup. At that point you could select to run "Windows" 3.1 from the menu. I detree'd windows and loaded Win 95 using a boot disk with CD-Rom support to load a full version of Win95 not an upgrade. The same startup menu comes up now and I can select "Windows" from the menu and Win95 starts up just fine. I would rather the machine just startup in Win95 mode. By the way, it's a pentium with 16 MB RAM.
