win95 and initializing ndis protect

Hi All,
i am having a problem loading Windows 95 on my 2.4ghz computer. when i first loaded it, i used the amdk6upd.exe patch, but when i load my Nic card, i get the following error:
Windows Protection Error While initializing device NDIS,
you must retart your computer.
how can i fix this?

wells hers some stuff to try.

1. upgrade to 98se

2 whipe out the drive and reinstall 95. Then go into safe mode to run that patch if its needed. But i dont think it is

3. Put in another NIC

4. Pack up your 2.4 ghz and send it to me. Just joking
