Hi, Could anyone help,? I am using a Celeron 566 Coppermine with 64Megabytes of RAM and Win98FE. 1) Problem is that if I disable the Fast shutdown, System is able to restart by the OS, and it comes to unable to shutdown, gives a black screen and if i enable the fast shutdown, system can shutdown with the safe to turn off, but cannot restart, stops at a blank screen. 2) If I install Win98SE, worst, cannot restart & shutdown, but after messing with the APM management and etc..., can shutdown, with the Safe to turn of your Com, and the same problem, cannot restart by OS. Does any one have any idea??

There is a problem with win98 shutting down. Microsoft has a shutdown supplement. Email me and I'll give you the supplement.

i just recently installed the shutdown supplement..it still doesn't seem to work.. whenever the shutdown hangs..my restart buttons and power button on my CPU don't work..neither does the 'ctrl + alt + delete' keys..i had to close the main power plug.. it seems like a damaging thing to do.. any other ideas?
