WIN TV Capture problem

I have A WIN TV capture card installed and all the software installed ok. However after reinstalling Windows 98 I get a message after trying to capture a video. The messgae says:-
Warning.Capture failed. Check that vertical sync interrupt are configured and enabled. It used to work okay and I have not made any hnardware changes. Can anyone help me please?

I have one of those cards and had the same problem. Frist thing I did was to uninstall the program and reload it. What version of the software do you have.

I'm sorry;
I've got AverMedia TVPhone98 Card and the software works excellent except video capturing. As the first time everything seems ok, but as I want to capture it gives the some error. At web site of aver writes that their card can make problems with mvp3 chip sets. Is your mainboard chip set the some?

I found the solution.
The problems occours because of the via chip set board. So I download the latest every upgrade from www.via.com.tw and the problem gets down. I'm happy now. :)

When I capture a long file it says that AVI file is not a valid file. So I can caputre max of 3 min.

I wouldn't complain...I can't even get the damn card to WORK on my computer

You need to check if you motherboard has an VIA or SIS chipset, if it does you must get the latest driver for your CHIPSET.

Hello, I have a CyberShot DSC-S30 and Windows 2000 Profesiona as Operating System. When I try to connect the camera to the USB port, appears a confilct in the device manager with this port. Surely is this because I don't have a properly driver.

Somebody help me please!!!

I have the win tv card and every works grate. But i have the premium channels in my house but i can't see them on my PC. Is there a program that let mi whatch the channels that im paiging for?
