win mx and cable

I have a cable connection and when i download with win mx it is slow(downloading from offical sites is fast) what can i do to boost my speed?

I am not positive, but it sounds like win mx is a file sharing software. In file sharing softwares you share your files and others share theirs. When you find something you want that someone else has, it opens a direct connection between you and the person. You download it as they upload it to you. The reason your downloads seem slow is because the person uploading the file at the same time is slow when uploading. The reason they are fast from offical sites and things is because they have huge bandwidth allowances so you are downloading as fast as you possibly can at that moment. hth

Well a Offical Site might be on a T3 line and a Person on WinMX might be on a outdated and impotent(More so the Pres. Regan) form of Dail up(such as 56k or slower) Just think back to your days of dail up and remember why things were slow
