Is there a way to install Win 98 w/o installing IE? I chose 'custom' during setup, but was unsuccessful in avoiding that buggy browser.

If you use 98Lite to install Win98 w/o IE, you will not be able to use the Win98 help system. This is because the help system uses IE to run because it is compiled HTML.
