Win 98 waits everytime at bootup

Comment:
i have win 98 installed on a p-133 machine, 32 mb RAM. my computer waits for about 2 minutes everytime at the windows logo when i boot up. during this time, apparently nothing happens. it boots up normally (without delay) in safe mode. i have no network card installed. the cause of the delay is NOT in config.sys,autoexec.bat or win.ini . the problem could be with one of the drivers, but which one? please help!

Check you BIOS to see if there is a setting for "bootup from network". Make sure that it is set to NO or else it will try to look for network setting until timed-out.

my problem got solved! actually, my computer was awating response from my syquest removable drive which i keep switched off most of the time. so all i did was to disable it from my hardware profile in the system properties and it stopped its 2 minutes halt at the logo screen.
