When Windows 98 starts, after all icons appear on the desktop, I am receiving an error message that reads:
"Taskmon caused invalid page fault in module Taskmon.exe at 015F:004012AC"
Any insight to this puzzling error would be greatly appreciated.

Check your startup folder for too many programs launching at startup. Systray and Explorer stay, one of the others might be causing the problem, remove one at a time and reboot to find which one is doing it.
Taskmonitor keeps track of what happens, so when you run defrag, it'll put the most frequently used programs at the outer edge of the HD. But it only works for MS programs.

i am sporting win98 and not too long ago i started getting system hang and on shut down, i get a "taskmon.exe error" What should I do to fix this problem which is reoccuring at all time, hangs on upon closing prog'rms and sometimes never boots all the way up to windows...
Does win 98 sucks ??..............lol

P.S. I know NOTHING about programming, so go easy, OK?

were getting a message that reads... "This
program requires more conventional memory.
Unload drivers or memory resident programs
that use conventional memory, or increase the
value for minimum conventional memory in the
programs memory properties sh
