Go to Microsoft's website, there is a "Mapped Drives Shutdown Tool" which should help.

Try the following website at microsoft.com

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb%3ben-us%3b196008

If the above website cannot be reached, then try entering "Computer Stops Responding When You Try to Shut It Down" in the search area or Article 196008.
