win 98 install took 10 hrs??

I install win 98 after format the drive but it took almost 10 hr to install I have a AM5x86-75-s base memory 640k co processor installe ext memo 15360k cpu clock 133mhz cache none and since then after insl a dos program when I exit to win it froze just before having the wallpaper loading

you are brave to install 98 with that setup... why did the install take so loooooong? what kinds of errors did you encounter during setup? was this an upgrade from 3.1 or 95? more info needed before giving further advice...

The lack of cache would be my guess. Can you turn this on in the BIOS? It should be on.
