Win 98 boots slowly - hangs for seconds

i have win2k and win 98 on one unpartitioned HD

my problem is that when i boot win 98 it hangs in the middle of the boot and does nothing after about 10 secs. it starts again and works fine, what can i do???

Run msconfig from the start run box
disable the autoexec.bat then reboot
if that doesnt then disable the config.sys
if that doesnt look in the startup disable any Known apps that you dont need NOTE: more than likley it is your registry backup that is causing the delay disable only if your advanced enough to repair your registry in case the worst happens cleaning your startup
of all Junk will probably be the best bet
