Win 98 and es1868

win 98 automatically recognized my es1868 sound card and installed the drivers for it. When it didn't work, I installed the drivers that came with it (which were made for win 95) and now it works while playing sounds, but I cannot record sounds. When I run sound recorder it just keeps repeating the same beep over and over. Any ideas?

MSN messenger does not seem to like the ES1868 sound card. Everytime I try to run the audio tuning wizard it dishes out a messge saying my card is half duplex. Anyone know of a solution??

I have a Compaq with W98SE and my ES1868 don't work. I have the drivers but I think is problem of jumpers. Does anybody has the jumpers settings? Thanks.
