I have a win 95 dsk tried installing it after formatting drive in dos it comes up e:
win95 v2 tried typing e:cd\win95 but comes up invalid directory tried typing setup to no prevail please help i think my disk is stuffed does anyone know where i can get the full version off the net with serial code need urgently thanxs all

I think here is your problem:
Do not type:
cd\win95.

at the E:\> type this:
win95\setup.exe.

If this doesn't work let me know and I will see what else I can come up with.

Well, for all we know you are on the wrong drive. do a "dir" or "dir/p" and "ENTER" and find the win95 directory first. Maybe your cd is "no longer" "e." Some bootable discs will make a virtual ramdrive, for example, and rename your cd drive(s). The point is, make sure you are looking for this directory on the right drive.
