Comment: Anyone else find themselves battling their cursor? It nearly always pulls straight to the side in varying directions, adware or what? It relaxes for awhile only after letting it do it's thing by going off screen, but then starts up pulling or roaming again. I think it's some malicious program that's been applied to me, although it doesn't appear to roam until I've nbeen on a page for awhile. Because I'm on free trial and could care less how long I'm on-line, could my server be gaming me to discourage my use? Know I'm probably stretching it a bit, but what's doing this?

Reply: (edit)G'day, Does it only do this when you are on the net? Could be a virus, so you'd better get yourself checked out (go to the security virus forum and get the info on what to download). However, on a more basic level, pull off the bottom of the mouse (where the ball is) and check to see how much stuff has collected around the spindles- you'll be surprised. regards and seasons greetings, Elric

Reply: (edit)Perhaps time to clean the rodents 'private parts...' One benefit of optical rodents (corded or cordless), no more need to clean the innards...

Reply: (edit)if its not virus, or dirty mouse innards its prolly the mouse dying, a4tech mice seem to last around a year before giving those exact symptoms. cured mine by leaving the a4tech software on and buying a cheap wheelmouse . Its happend to me twice, both times they were a4tech mice. if u have a spare mouse it wouldn`t hurt to swap them for week or so and see if it still misbehaves. and if it cures it, well mice re cheap enough, i ususlly keep couple of spares.
