Here you can find the CD-Key: HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion

Hey.....I had installed windows 95 from my vendor from a registered CD i.e a certified one.I dont have the CD key now when i want to reinstall windows setup from the cab files. Can u help me

Start regedit.exe under Windows. You can find the CD-Key: HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion Just scroll down 'til you find the Product ID; CD Key is just below it (may be called Product Key). This works for Win NT 4.0 and Windows 98 as long as you can access the registry.
