Hey I am having some problem with my games. For some reason when I shut down or reboot my games lock up when I try to access them. I have uninstalled my latest downloads with no success. To get my games to work I have to reinstall them until I have to shut down again and repeat the process when I start up my pc. I really need some help. Mauley

When I shut down my whole computer locks up. I can't do anything. It stops making noise and the monitor goes black. When I restart everything works as normal. Sorry. Most games require the CD be inserted in order to play the game. You have provided a limited amount of information. Are you certain that you have a problem and not just interpreting it to be one? What happens: You install the game and at the end of the install it says that everything is a go. It does not install any extras like DirectX that requires a restart before playing the game or anything does it? You are all done playing, you do a proper shutdown of the PC. You come back at a later time, power up the PC, insert the CD and it autostarts, you click the Play button and it locks up. Is that above correct? Otherwise, spell it out for us.

Yeah most of the above is correct except it does install direct x and all the extras and then when it does the restart it requires I come back to the game, press the play button and it locks up.
