I go to a web page (our daily newspaper)and I get yesterday's paper. I hit 'Refresh' on the toolbar and then it refreshes to today's. Prior to all this, I clean all in Internet Options including: Temp.Internet/History/Auto Complete. I clear Windows Cookies/Windows Temp Internet as well as Windows/Temp. I have a check at 'every visit to page' under Newer versions of stored pages under I.E./Temp Intenet/Settings. What am I missing and why would it give a day old view until I hit refresh. I'm on Cable and my settings do not allow for a proxy server (no check under I.E./Tools/Internet Option/Connection/Lan/no check there @ Proxy). Thank you

Not sure why it doesn't work. Have you also tried checking the box where it says Automatically instead of 'every visit to page'. That might work.

Hope that helps.

Kevin.

I originally had 'Auto' and switched to 'Every Visit' thinking that would help.

Gary, When you go into Tools/Internet Options and click the Delete Files button under Temporary Internet Files/General tab and the pop up window appears put a checkmark in front of "Delete all off-line content", click "OK". This may solve the problem.

Uncheck the "extra one under Content/Auto complete."
