i need info about what kind of
motherboard or prc socket the
emachines Etower 3i has
already checked emachines
site no detailed info..
as to what i want to know
so i can know if i can stick a
amd k6 prc in it (its estimated to be at
500mhz to 550mhz)
and aparently if have the above request
knowledge it will tell me if i can do it..

Actually, I have never seen an emachine Etower 3i. I have worked on a 333i and there is a 366i...

...just download this program and unzip it to a folder.
CPU-Z
It will tell you just about everything you need to know and it can also be run from a floppy.

It's going to be a celeron, socket 370. No it won't take a K6.
