what is PowerReg Scheduler?

Comment:
A year into running Windows 98 on a Dell Pentium II machine I have been getting the message at start up that "C:\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\PowerReg Scheduler.exe is not a valid Win32 application" My computer has of late been spontaneously rebooting itself, and I suspect this is connected to the malfunctioning PowerReg scheduler. My question is: what is PowerReg Scheduler? And what do I lose if I delete it? And, possibly, can I repair it?

Why not just move the file from the ..\Startup\ folder to another one and reboot and see what happens? You can always move it back to \Startup if you need to.
