My Webshots wallpaper display is wacky -- pixelated and colored all wrong. But the webshots screensaver display is fine. What could be causing the display problem in wallpaper but not in screensaver? Any clues? thanks, Julie

Hey Julie, I don't know if you'll wind up seeing this since this is an old post. I was browsing through some old posts and noticed yours didn't have any responses so I figured I'd give it a shot. I don't know if I'll be of any help here as I might need more info. to clarify the problem. I have Webshots too. At the moment I could only think of one possibility. What resolution have you been downloading this photos at from that website and what resolution do you have your desktop configured at? I was just thinking that if you have a monitor and video card that are capable of displaying higher resoutions and if you currently have your desktop set to a lower resolution that that might lead to grainier, more pixelated photos. The screensaver though on the other hand wouldn't display the photos at the same setting. It would display them in their full size, default setting for best viewing. Thus if this is the problem you might have to raise the setting that you have your desktop resolution at. I don't know, it could be something more complex than that causing your problem. This is just the only thing I could think of right now. Let me know though how it works out.
