Webcam won't record video using tnt2 m64

I've got a tnt2 m64 and I know they have a problem with tv cards with not being able to go on overlay mode but, and I have a logitech webcam which I can't seem to capture video with, I was wondering if it's got to do with the same thing.
It works fine for photos and stuff, but soon as you try and capture video it gets the first frame then stops.
can anyone please help me.
I tried looking for help at the logitech website but couldn't find anything.
