This churnoble virus that hit 1000's of people formats their hard drive and wipes out all partition walls. It hit on midnight this monday.
Sound familiar? If not, you probably need to fdisk the system, if you've tried that and it doesn't work, you can goto support.micronpc.com and goto bootdisks and download 98bot1.exe...it has a zapdisk.exe on it that will completely level you hard drive so you can start from scratch. But first put the boot disk in and boot it up, then type fdisk, and see what happens.

WHAT DONT TOUCH THE PC YET. you can temporaraly diable the virus by running KILL_CIH. a downloadable program from any repuatable antivirus firm. I have location and instructions on others that have the same problem from the 26 down below.

If you send your harddrive to me I can fix it
for you if you pay for shipping & handling.
My 100GB disk array crashed had it all backup
it had 98GB left and it was all backed up. But the point is I got it back up and working
in about 30minutes. Send it to me and it shall be fixed.

I think my hard drive crashed, but I am not sure. It is a simple computer with win. 98. Everytime I turn it on, it says insert boot disk in drive a: I don't know what to do with it? It won't let me type in anything, and I don't have any of the original disks, because I bought it from a computer company surplus sale. Do I have to buy another hard drive?
