There is a problem in IE 5.01 which means that you will be unable to access secure servers. Quite a serious problem in the ecommerce age we now find ourselves living in. Serious problems - easy solution - follow the link below.

Before the fix I was unable to buy online, access my hotmail account and even use the windowsupdate site at microsoft.com. My suggestion to you all is - if you are planning to install IE 5.01 get the patch FIRST then install the program then the patch (if you need it).
