vxd vjoyd(04) fatal exception help

i'm trying to install an interact propad(morraypad) and am getting this exception when trying to access the device in any way. any ideas?

How are you connecting it?

If through the joystick/MIDI port, reinstall the drivers for that.

Install the latest drivers for the joypad that are compatible with 98SE.

i've reinstalled all the drivers and that vxd. i still get the errors

Did you remove the old drivers and vxd files before reinstalling? If no, the reinstall may not have worked correctly.
