i get the following error if i boot win 98 with my dvd drive hitachi 2500 but if i disconnect it win 98 loads fine. exception 0E has occurred at 0028:00000009 in vxd ---. this was called from 0028:C1448B91 in vxd ---.
i formated my hard drive and re installed windows last time it happened. The computer ran ok for a while then this error cropped up again. please help solve this conflict. TIA s.gannon
