Comment:

after a lock up and reboot, i got the message about Windows not being able to find this file (vwfd.vxd) that was specified in either the registry or system.ini
i checked the system.ini and there was a line in the [386Enh] section that said "device=vwfd.vxd". i REM'd it out and no longer get the error at start up but i'm still wondering what this driver could be for. does anyone know what it might be?

It's from a Russian GuitarFX progam
The VWFD.VXD file sticks around after you have deleted the program.

Well, the exact same thing happens to my computer when I turn it on. It is getting irritating, how do I get rid of it?

Thanks!

Bob

Guitar FX BOX 2.1 - effect (guitar/voice) processor for win95/98 (better than any cheap russian vodka!) if anyone needs it and cant find it, mail me at nickal_arse@hotmail.com and i'll send it your way. By the way same thing happened to me with GuitarFX, such a pain in the arse for such a crappy little piece of software.
