voodoo2 not showing in games

i have had my 3d blaster voodoo2 now for a few years and it worked fine, but lately ive tryed to install games that once worked and they dont, i have downloaded updated drivers and it worked to some extent, but now i cant enable voodoo to work in any games whatsoever! it shows in the device manager and is recocnized by the computor but it does not show in the desktop properties any more and doesnt show in directx dialogue box either i dont know what has happened but it is quite important i get it to work as it is not my computor! please could someone help?

My voodoo3 2000 and 3000 cards were very fickle about how the drivers were loaded.
Always had to start with standard pci graphics adaptor then go through the 3dfx driver install process. If I tried to reinstall drivers without first uninstalling and reverting to the std pci drivers all sorts of problems arose.

I am not sure but when I had mine it would not work with anything higher then directx 7(maybe 6)

With Newer games Voodoo hasnt been tested with them Because Voodoo is out of date i have the same Problem. You need to get a new gaphics card because Games are not being Tested with Voodoo so this means Voodoo will not be compatible with these games sry
