volume icon system tray

How do I get that volume speaker icon back beside the time display, in right hand corner.I can drag the total volume control, can't figure how to get the speaker icon there. Shop reloaded win95 just recently.

Go into Control Panel, select MultiMedia and then Audio tab. Put a tick in "Show volume control on taskbar"

I'm having the same issue. I went to Multimedia. The "show speaker in taskbar" will not stay selected when I click ok. I've reloaded the snd drvr & Multimedia in Win95.
