hey, snice i have your attention here, the oddest thing just happened to me, my computer started making an alarm sound, and the computer said my voltage was high, at 5% of what i set for the alarm to go off. what the hell is that? thanks! before my house burns down!
You have a systems monitoring program running in the background which monitors the *health* of yor PC. It reads the temperature of the cpu and system fan speed , as well as processor fan speed and reports this all back to its interface. If you find and open the program interface you will be able to ajust the settings so that the alarm bells won't be ringing for no real problem. Without knowing exactly which motherboard you are running I wouldn't be able to give you any more precise details, except that these progs are usually set with the wrong parameters in the first place. The alarm is probably sounding without due need.
