Vnetsup.vxd should be in c:\windows\system

As far as I am aware it is an original W98 file that doesn't get updated (mine hasn't). If you have a W98 CD you should therefore be able to replace it like this:

Pop in your W98 CD holding shift down until it has finished reading it. This will prevent it attempting to start a Windows installation (although you can back out).

Next type sfc in the Run box and hit Return key. Use the "extract one file feature" to replace the file. It should automatically offer the path I gave.

If you come unstuck, I (or someone else) could email the file but we would need to know for certain whether it is W98 first or second edition. You can get this info by right clicking My Computer and quoting the version number. If it is second edition it usually says so.
