ok got a good one now i did something wrong cant get to my windows this is what i get vmm32.vxd is required to run windows if this file is not in your path yo may to reinstall windows.. i have found a site to fix and i dont have a ren system folder to fix it ... any ideas my router works perfect for i am on mydesk top writin and looking up help on it ....

Probably best to overlay Windows when you get vmm32.vxd problems because it is formed when Windows is installed (not from CD). I have heard that you can copy one from another machine which is using the same OS but this is a tad controversial - nothing lost trying though. It resides in c:\windows\system
The trick, once you are up and running is to always keep a copy of vmm32.vxd on a floppy, so you can put it back if it corrupts. In theory you need to back it up from time to time but I've found it rarely changes, if ever.
