my head is wrecked i have an old pc windows 95, i can't get into windows i've had the scan disk running for nearly 3 days and it produced a message saying

vmm32.vxd files missing or corrupted may need to reinstall windows setup ...how can i do this without a command prompt?

please help

HAve you got a boot floppy? Try running from that and re-installing windows
