I have a computer that gives me this error message evertime I try to boot to Win98. It's also not allowing Win98 to boot. The error message goes as follows:
"While initializing device VKD: Windows protection error". I am not sure what this means and, like I said, it only happens when windows is about to come up. It is not my computer, so I dont know exactly what it has in it. I do know that it has an AMD K6-2, Sound Blaster Live, and a Voodoo 3 video card. Your help would greatly be appriciated..thanx
