VisualC++ Runtime Error using CorelPhotopaint 9.0

Shortly after scanning I get the message Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error Program D:\Program\Files\Corel\Graphics99\Programs\Photopnt.exe Abnormal program termination. I have updated with the latest downloaded CorelDraw/Photopaint files. I have also installed the Pinnacle Studio DC10 video capture card. Any thoughts?
I'm sorry I don't have an answer for you but I get the same message when I try to start Adobe Photoshop 5.5. I can't even get the program to start. I've been trying to do some research on this, but I still don't have an answer. I have 256MB of memory and a 17GB hard drive so I fail to believe it's a memory problem. I used to be able to run Photoshop then all of a sudden it gives me this error. CAN ANYONE HELP US!!!!! I'M GOING CRAZY!!! Thanks!

I get the same error in photoshop 5.5 It seemed to happen to me when I installed a 3deep gamma system. I asked adobe for help and they told me to remove all the .icc profiles in windows\system\color directory but this didnt help either. SOMEONE HELP US
