Comment:

I have IE 5.01 and set so that when I visit a website it will show in red so that I know I have been there... but it doesn't work...
This has to be a issue with IE 5.01 cause when I use Netscape it works fine

TIA
Lorraine

Your IE5 might have lost some of its files through installing/uninstalling process of other programs. When programs uninstall sometimes they grab other files and pull them out too. You probably need to reinstall your IE5. Of course, someone else here may have other suggestions to what is causing this, but this is probably the simplest fix for your problem. And IE5 is so readily availible on cd roms now. Only takes about 20 minutes to install it, so I would go there first.
