Hi,
Norton Antivirus detected and quarantined several files that are infected by a virus called Trojan.ByteVerify. NAV will not remove the virus (for some reason), but I would like to get it totally off my system.
The four files it lists that contain the virus are similarly named: VerifierBug.Class-15a3ad70-1676492b.class.
1) Is it OK to just delete these files?
2) Will this totally remove the virus from my PC?
Thanks!

Yes you can open the Vault and delete to get rid of the Virus infected file your ANTIVIRUS Program was unable to clean and recover.
From the vault ("Life in Prison" sentence by NAV for the offence commited) the virus cannot infect your Computer system any more. But, you can certainly 'Execute" the offender by your delete 'guillotine':-)

Hi musicdave, MaadhuriMN, hi everyone,Here us my behavior in front of AntiVirus programs:
- I use them to guard my system and prevent it to be infected
- I use them to periodically scan my files but I don't let NAV put any file in quarantine otherwise, the only solution would be to delete!I never count on AntiVirus programs to disinfect because they usually can't!
I understand that... AntiVirus programs have to deal with 65,358 virus defs!
Antidotes are small programs especialy written against one type of virus and thus, they can work more efficiently!NAV often cannot disinfect... best antidotes come from Symantec (NAV editor) though!
HTH
Have a good day,
Gérard from Paris, France
