Here is my problem: We had a virus called W95.hybris.gen we ran norton it found the virus then we installed the removal tool from symantec to get rid of it but it seems that the wWsock32.dll file can't be fixed, quarantine or deleted. I have tried to replace the file from a number of places on the web but the problem is that the old file still is up and working my question is how do I delete the bad file? this is what it says when I run a virus scan. The file Wsock32.dll in compressed file C:\Program Files\Support.com\backup\WS\Wsock32.dll\65554_563328dff_is infected with W95.Hybris.gen virus This what it says when I try to delete the bad file: Can not be deleted file either in use or it is on a write protected disk. Please help I have tried everything I can think of. Thanks, Kim
