Virus in SystemVolumeRestore-Win98?

Using eTrust EZ Antivirus I scanned an unbootable Win98 HD running as a slave [E:\ Drive] on a Win XP PC.
E:\System Volume Information\_restore{F228C3BB-EA80-4E7D-86B4-36AFF22FEF79}\RP109\change.log - unable to open file - not scanned. ------ BUT-- I can’t find E:\System Volume Information\_restore & don’t believe there is such a thing on Win98. This seems to refer to a Restore Point as in WinXP.
MY question is : What does System Volume Information\_restore mean relative to Win98?

It's there. You have to uncheck the "hide system operating files" in folder options under the View tab.

Because you've attached the drive to an XP system it's created a restore point on the drive. Easiest way to get rid of is to disable System Restore, restart PC and re-scan system, then restart & re-enable System Restore.
