Whenever I try installing my audio device (Vinyl AC'97 Sound) it never works. I checked the multimedia controls and it says that the is no playback or recording device!?!?! Yet when I click on devices, it shows my sound card there but my computer doesn't use it for some reason. Is it because of my diver?

Instead of trying to INSTALL the card, use the update feature on the one that shows in device manager. Supply the complete path to the drivers when prompted.
