When i open a folder & select view and then try selecting "view as web page" it does not work. When i press "view as web page" nothing happens ? Does anyone know what might be causing this problem ?
Thanks in advance

Hi keifra
Maybe a corrupt Folder.htt file ?
Enable Windows Explorer to show all files, and then go to C:\Windows\Web and delete the Folder.htt file

Hi Krystyna,
I tried to find the file you mentioned "folder.htt" and i did not have it, so i ran sfc and extracted it to C:\Windows\Web.
Now I can use the option "view as web page" but every time i access a folder it gives me the following error :
An error has occured in the script of this page
Line : 269
Char : 4
Error : Object doesn't support this property or method
Code : 0
URL : file://C:\Windows\web\folder.httAny more ideas ?

Hi keifra
Try this...
IE > Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab > Browsing section
Uncheck "Disable a notification about every script error"
Check "Disable script debugging"

Hi Krystyna,
That solved the script problem. but whenever i open a folder it takes time to open and the folder looks funny. I dont know how to explain it so i sent you an e-mail, maybe you can help me out. I did some print screens on an excel sheet, so you will know what i am looking at.
Thanks in advance for your help

I won't get your email, as I don't accept mails with attachments, from unknown senders!
Sorry! When Windows Explorer is acting up, it can often be that Internet Explorer is corrupt.
Both Explorers use the same platform.Try a repair of Internet Explorer
Go to Add/Remove Programs
Click Microsoft Internet Explorer
Choose the Repair optionGood luck!
