I get this message when I boot up "A FATAL EXCEPTION 0D HAS OCCURED AT 033F:00004C26" I think this has something to do with my video driver. I can remove my video card from device manager and let it reload during boot up, when I do this it will come up fine but in 16 color mode. If i try to change to another color depth I get the error again on reboot. The only way to get it to run is in safe mode or having the color depth set to 16. I am running Win98 V4.10.1998, on a 450 Mhz AMD K6-2, 128MB RAM, with a 3D Blaster Anihilator Pro, and a Sound blaster live. Any Suggestions ?

Could be a bad video card. Is it new? Do you have another pc to try it on?

Have you tried the latest drivers from the internet? You can try the detonator drivers from www.nvidia.com. Keep in mind if you aren't running the detonator drivers now, you will have to remove the old drivers first before installing the detonator drivers.

Download and install the newest video drivers
and newest Creative Blaster control software at the attached link. You might want to get the lastest directx drivers too, directx 8.0 is out and believe it of not it is pretty stable. You can get directx 8.0 on Microsofts site but first you might want to get the drivers first. The files are big, therefore if you are on a 56k modem, you might want to download Godzilla 3.91. It allow you to download parts of the file without worring about lossing internet connectivity.

It isn't a new card, I have been running it for about 6 months. The problems started right after I did a defrag on my computer. I did download the latest creative drivers for my video and sound card, but have not tried the Nvidia reference drivers. I also do not have a different pc to try the card on.
