I have a pcchips m748mr mother board and have installed a monster fusion card and the card is working but when i play a game the screen goes blank and locks up can anyone suggest what to do?

Well, updated drivers for your monitor, plus checking out the DirectX diags is a start. You could also rerun some of the setup programs that come with each game to let them know you have another piece of hardware.
