Vibra16-Intel Configuration Manager

Comment:
I am building an old school gaming machine to play DOS games. I have a Vibra 16 sound card and the Vibra 16 install disks.
When I run the install from DOS, it says I need to: "Install a configuration Manager... please install the (ICM) Intel Configuration Manager..."
This ICM program is not on my disks, and I cannot find this on the internet or from Intel. How does this get installed please? Thank you.

Thanks. My PnP OS was set to "no". I also looked at the additional information you gave me.
I have found an original 8-bit Sound Blaster card which I will try next. Maybe the drivers I found for this card will work more easily. Afterall, I am just looking to have a soundcard that does not have wavetable.
All my old-school gaming was from the bleepidy-bleep non wavetable sound cards. I think my Vibra16 had wavetable and that didn't wouldn't sound quite right.
Thanks, James

I had hoped it was the PnP OS. You also might try reserving IRQ 5 in cmos for ISA/legacy.
