Check out Steve Gibsons site at www.grc.com and read the info related to OptOut!! I won't go into it here but he may have pinpointed the source of a few browser stability problems as well as exposing a sneaky infiltration of your PC. I posted on this forum some time ago asking if anybody knew what MSIPCSV.exe was, as my firewall (ZoneAlarm) had detected it trying to communicate - nobody knew, BUT I KNOW NOW! It is a parasite spread by Aureate to tell them my browsing habits without my consent. Ta Aureate, thanks for asking.

Actually I installed OptOut, yesterday, on all three of my computers. It found one clean computer, one computer with a clean registry and 21 infected files, one computer with 12 registry parasites and no infected files. Scary, isn't it?
