I'm having problems with my USR/3Com 3594 Win Int modem. Was trying to get a DSL router hooked-up and (for troubleshooting) removed the "Dial-Up Adapter" from the Network Neighborhood/Properties/Configuration tab. Never got the router installed properly and now I can't re-install the Dial-Up Adapter. I go thru the steps to Add it and point to the OEM driver disk when it says "The specified location does not contain information about your hardware". There are 3 ".INF" and 3 ".CAB" files in the "Win 98SE only" directory but I still get this message. What the heck am I doing wrong?!?!?

Hi Terri,
Thanks for responding. No I haven't. Didn't know I could or should. What do I need to do? Would I (finding it as I type) un-install it from "Control Panel/Add_Remove Programs/Windows Setup tab/Communications/Dial-Up Networking", reboot, re-install same?
I'll try that. Hope I would be able to help you sometime. Thank you very very much!!!
